Set on a flat and scenic 2.5km loop in Hagley Park North. Compete as an individual or a team. A team may consist of up to 4 walkers, with a minimum turnaround of 1 hour.

  • 6:15am - Registration opens
  • 6:50am - Race Briefing
  • 7:00am - 12 and 6 Hour Walk starts
  • 1:00pm - 6 Hour Walk finishes
  • 7:00pm - 12 Hour Walk finishes
  • 7:15pm - Prizegiving
  • 7:30pm - Post-race Dinner

Event Options: 12 Hour Walk Individuals, 12 Hour Walk Teams, 6 Hour Walk Individuals

Team Option: Teams are to be made up of four people, each walking a total of 3 hours. Team members must walk for at least one hour at a time.

Location: Hagley Park North

Both events are on a certified flat 2.5km asphalt loop in the shady and tranquil North Hagley Park. The loop course was chosen for this event specifically to provide the best possible care, support and encouragement to runners.

All participants must be at least 18 years of age on event day.

Online entries close at midnight on Friday 9th November. On the day entries are accepted with a $5.00 late entry fee until 30 minutes before the race starts.

A delicious vegetarian post-race dinner provided by The Lotus-Heart Restaurant will be held in the event village at 7:30pm. The meal is complimentary for all participants. Supporters are welcome to purchase dinner for $7 - please let us know by 10am on race day if you would like to take this option.

Award Categories

All races are open. Trophies and prizes are awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers in each event. All finishers recieve a medal and certificate. There will also be a spot prize draw.

Results, photos and a race report will be posted online after the event.
