Set on a scenic 3.3km loop in Hagley Park South, Christchurch, New Zealand. All races are open to both runners and walkers. The cut off time for the half marathon is 3.5 hours.

Course

All races use a scenic 3.3km loop in Hagley Park South. Registration and the start/finish area will be inside the park near Riccarton Roundabout. Please note that this is a change from the original course, due to circumstances beyond our control. The new course is similar in quality - paved and flat. Kilometres will be marked. Street parking is available alongside the park.

Schedule

  • 7:15am - Half Marathon registration opens
  • 8:00am - Half Marathon start
  • 8:15am - 10km and Children's 2.5km registration opens
  • 9:00am - 10km and Children's 2.5km start
  • 9:30am - Children's prizegiving
  • 10:30am - Half Marathon and 10km prizegiving

Aid stations

There will be one aid station near the start/finish area with water and Horleys Replace. Runners will pass this every 2.5km.

After the Race

  • A delicious post-race breakfast will be provided.
  • Certificates will be available to all finishers.
  • At the prizegiving medals will be awarded to the first 3 placegetters and spot prizes will be given out.
