Hayden Bell and Garbitashri Webster - both members of the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team - were outright victors in the Self-Transcendence 10 & 5 km races on a blue-skied, autumn morning at the scenic Auckland Domain last Sunday.

10 km winner Hayden 28, ran a well judged race - always looking comfortabe - taking the lead in the second half to finish in 38 minutes 31 seconds - ahead of early leader Doug Campbell 39:05, and David Lewis 39:15.
The women's 10 km division was won by Fiona Wright 29, in 44 minutes 9 seconds from Sarah Renshaw 54:57, and race-walker Shirley Barber 70:46.

5 Km race winner Garbitashri 28, ran strongly in the latter stages to easily win the women's section and achieve overall first place in 19 minutes 18 seconds - followed by promising school-girl cross-country runner Alana Barber 17, in 21:52 and Caroline Thorn 27:07.
The men's 5 km winner was Hayden Grey 29, in 19 minutes 50 seconds - from Grant Unovich in 22:47 and Stephen Lim 36:31.
