Event Setting/ Layout

• Beautiful parklands setting - friendly helpers spread around the course - all standards of runners/ walkers welcome.

• Fast, accurate 'Jones-calibrated' 2.5 km circuit - distance signs every kilometre - water & Replace each lap.

• Lap counters provided for 20 km participants [2:30 time limit - suit runners and race-walkers only].

• Registration/ start/ finish area is next to the Auckland Domain cricket pavilion - enter via Carlton Gore Road.

Awards/ Spot Prizes etc. - all finishers receive/eligble for:

• Finisher certificates with accurate times - trophies for first 3 men/ women & medals for age group winners -  50-59, 60-69 & 70+.

• Random spot prizes - which are awarded as you cross the finish line.

• Free, yummy, post-race food and drinks.
