In mild sunny conditions, Konoka Azumi, 8.15.12 (Owairaka Athletics, AUK) and Ben Taylor, 9.10.18 (North Canterbury Athletics) ran excellent races to win the 18th Sri Chinmoy 'Self-Transcendence' 100 km Road Races at Hagley Park North, Christchurch on Sunday 02 November 2025 ... and became the 2025 Athletic New Zealand 100 km national champions.

Mat Wiseman, 3.17.54 (Christchurch, CAN) also ran an excellent race, leading until being passed by Vajin a few kilometers from the finish. David Shadbolt, 5.11.33 (Rollston CAN) was third.

Siobhan Griffiths, 4.22.44 (Rotorua, BOP) was the 50 km women's runner-up, followed by Natasha Demster, 7:48.10 (Christchurch, CAN).
