In cool, breezy conditions, returning winner Mark Bright 49, (1.22.51) ran another strong race to take a comfortable victory in race 3 of the Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon Series. Raewyn Peters 45, was first woman in 1.37.12.

Tony Edmonds 32, who set the current 10k course record (34.39) here in 2011, dominated the men's 10k race with an easy victory in 37.31. Martina Fellmann 22, (43.14) won the women's 10k.

Caleb Kioa-Hamling 30, (20.01) & Tracey Johns, (22.18) achieved first places in the Sri Chinmoy 5k events.

Tayla Clark 11, won the 1.5k Children's Race in 8.01.

Mark Andrew (1.31.17) was a clear winner of the Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon ... followed by Rexhep Ajvazaj (1.35.44) and Ryan Walker (1.42.07).

Gayleen Carson (1.54.39) won the women's Half-Marathon ... from Ketina Chivasa (2.00.35) and Abbie David (2.19.20).

In the Sri Chinmoy Quarter Marathon (10.55 km), MJ Parkinl (41.04) had a fine victory, closely followed by Ben Worrall (41.21), and Finn Campbell (41.39).

Melanie James (50.06) won the women's Quarter Marathon, from Kayla Hurcum (51.13) and Anna Caruthers (52.11).

Kate Macdonald (39.48) set a course record in the women's 10 km race, taking over 2 minutes off Cath Delaporte's 2019 mark (42.15) ... followed by Anne-Marie Mujica (53.02) and Loren Peart (53.48).

Finn Campbell (1.37.17) was victorious in the Sri Chinmoy 20 km Race, followed by Jason Gerritz (1.39.25) and Malcolm Chamberlin (1.52.02).

In the Sri Chinmoy 10 km Race Joseph Sweeney (40.05) had a fine win, from by Mark Andrew (41.44) and impressive 65 year-old Tony King (42.42).

Melanie James (48.43) won the women's 10 km, from Larissa Wildsmith (54.11) and Fiona Muirhead-Smith (58.31).

Christopher Rawles (22.13) was first in the Sri Chinmoy 5 km Race ... followed by Tama Pasene (27.53) and Tommy Tjahjadi (28.25).

Loren Peart (26.14) won the women's 5 km Race, from Lisa Harris (27.14) and Hazel Winwood (31.39).

Despite a 10 minute late start, Self-Transcendence 3,100 mile (5,000 km ) finisher, Susan Marshall (1.53.02), won the women's Half-Marathon ... from Melissa Kjestrup (1.58.24) and Kirsty Sesto (2.00.15).

In the Sri Chinmoy 12 km Race Melanie James (59.42) had a fine outright victory, followed by Nadine France (1.10.24).

TK Higuchi (1.03.06) won the men's 12 km, from race walker Gareth Jess (1.48.07).

Alexander Rawles (23.10) was first in the Sri Chinmoy 5.6 km Race, followed by Christopher Rawles (26.01) and Te Iwihoko Te Rangihirawea (29.04).

Angela Baird (29.31) won the women's 5.6 km, from Desiree Scanlan (32.09) and Melissa Allan (32.46) .

Alexander Finn (9.17) ran a very fine course record in the Sri Chinmoy 2.5 km Children's Race (taking 3 seconds off Bruno McLeod's 2021 time) ... followed by Naoki Chow (14.20).

Ashley Gerritz (16.45) won the 2.5 km girl's race, from Saisha Udare (16.56).

A cool, damp spring day greeted runners and walkers, for race 9 of the Sri Chinmoy Auckland Series 2024 ... held at the picturesque Lovelock Track, War Memorial Park, Mt Roskill on Sunday 08 December 2024.

Aron Thompson (1.02.59) set a race record in the Sri Chinmoy 10-Mile Classic (16.1k) ... followed by Rexhep Ajvazaj (1.08.04) and Lucas Whiather (1.13.30).

Freja Willeter (1.30.38) won the women's 10-Miler ... from Brydie Black (1.42.30) and Laura Youdan (1.52.29).

In the Sri Chinmoy 10 km Race, Mark Andrew (40.42) ran strongly for a fine victory ... followed by Finn Campbell (41.45) and Stephen Rawles (49.00).

Roslyn McGinty (50.52) won the women's 10 km race, from Kayla Hurcum (55.55) and Rikki Stancich (56,11).

Alexander Rawles (24.53) was first in the Sri Chinmoy 5.6 km Race, followed by Christopher Rawles (26.31) and Jack Huang (28.35).

Tessa O'Leary (28.20) won the women's 5.6 km, from Glaucia Santos Abrao (32.33) and Irene Lee (38.15) .

Charlie Huang (13.43) was first in the Sri Chinmoy 2.5 km Children's Race, followed by Harvey Watson (14.29) and Theo Maslin (19.11).

James Donovan (1.27.22) was a comfortable winner of the Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon ... followed by Mark Andrew (1.29.42) and Jason Gerritz (1.36.19).

Lisa Harris (1.52.17) won the women's Half-Marathon ... from Gholala Juan (2.11.39) and Kathy Fell (2.14.09).

In the Sri Chinmoy 10 km Race, Peter Segedin (44.10) ran strongly for a fine victory ... followed by Oscar Jacobsohn (45.24) and Stephen Rawles (49.16).

Melanie James (48.35) won the women's 10 km race, from Annabel Bird (49.23) and Natacha Jordan (54.50).

Zachery Swain (23.19) was first in the Sri Chinmoy 5.6 km Race, followed by Alexander Rawles (24.46) and Jing Cai (27.14).

Angela Baird (26.08) won the women's 5.6 km, from Amber Cai (39.16) and Rita Paton (39.58) .

A mild to warm blue-sky, Spring day greeted runners and walkers for race 7 of the Sri Chinmoy Auckland Series 2024 ... at the Auckland Domain on Sunday 22 September 2024.

In the Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon (21.1k) Ari Penberthy (1.27.35) had a fine win ahead of Robert Logan (1.29.58) and Mark Andrew (1.30.18).

Amanda Bethell (1.39.27) won the women's half from Ketina Chivasa (1.46.09) and Naoko Chalkley (1.48.58).

In the Sri Chinmoy Quarter-Marathon (10.55k), Mattijs De Clercq (39.12) ran a course record, taking 2 minutes off the old mark ... followed Peter Segedin (47.01) & Oscar Jacobsohn (49.01).

Lucy Taylor (51.46) was first in the women's quarter, from Melanie James (52.17) & Elise Blundell 56.53.

Alexander Rawles (19.25) won the Sri Chinmoy 4.5 km Race ... followed by brother Christopher Rawles (21.16) & Logan Donald (22.02).

Jeewon Kim (26.01) won in the women's 4.5 km, from Irene Lee (28.59) & Rita Paton (31.21).

A mild, sunny late-winter's day greeted runners and walkers for race 6 of the Sri Chinmoy Auckland Series 2024 ... at the Auckland Domain on Sunday 11 August 2024.

In the Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon (21.1k), Owairaka Athletic's James Marsh (1.15.36) finished just ahead of clubmate Joel Bickers (also 1.15.36) in very fine performances.

In third place was early race leader Michael Chin (1.17.56) ... in a personal best time.

Lisa Harris (1.54.28) won the women's half.

In the Sri Chinmoy Quarter-Marathon (10.55k), Mark Andrew (43.14) ran another excellent race ... followed by Neil Cheetham (45.22) & Peter Segedin (47.02).

Amanda Bethell (47.31) was first in the women's quarter, from Lucy Taylor (52.59) and Melanie James (53.02).

Vincent Schatz (15.58) set another course record in the Sri Chinmoy 4.5 km Race ... followed by Alexander Rawles (20.10) and his brother Christopher Rawles (20.40).

Sabine Laliberte (21.19) won in the women's 4.5 km, from Emily Scovell (24.02) & Cassidy Wilgar (28.45).

Leo Hopkins (10.03) won the Sri Chinmoy 1.5 km Children's Race.

In the Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon (21.1k), Jason Gerritz (1.31.00) had a fine victory ... followed by Rexhep Ajvazaj (1.32.27) and Joshua Donaldson (1.37.22).

Finn MacKenzie (1.41.45) won the women's half, from Naoko Chalkley (1.45.12) and Larissa Wildsmith (1.54.40).

In the Sri Chinmoy Quarter-Marathon (10.55k), Mark Andrew (41.37) ran an excellent race ... followed by Peter Segedin (47.58) and Nopphachat Khramaneenan (50.29).

Melanie James (55.12) was first in the women's quarter, from Elise Blundell (57.07) and Julie Lindenberg (57.54).

Vincent Schatz (16.19) set a course record in the Sri Chinmoy 4.5 km Race ... followed by Zachary Swain (18.00) and Pablo Lopez (21.23).

Sabine Laliberte (21.25) won in the women's 4.5 km, from Kittiyakorn Nomvaree (24.05) and Melanie Harding (25.40).

Ashley Gerritz (10.37) won the Sri Chinmoy 1.5 km Children's Race.

Overnight rain made way for a sunny winter's day for runners and walkers in race 4 of the Sri Chinmoy Auckland Series 2024 ... held at the Auckland Domain on Sunday 23 June 2024.

In the Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon, Mark Andrew (1.30.11) had another fine victory ... closely followed by Thomas Guy (1.30.36) and Jason Gerritz (1.31.46).

Lisa Harris (1.54.03) won the women's half from Kirsty Sesto (1.57.08) and Michelle Morunga (2.34.16).

In the Sri Chinmoy Quarter-Marathon (10.55k), Aron Thompson (40.54) ran an excellent race to take 31 seconds off Tom Keeler's course record ... followed by Matthew Wansbone (41.43) and Neil Cheetham (46.47).

Jeewon Kim (1.09.58) was first in the women's quarter, from Laura Youdan (1.11.50).

Nopphachat Khramaneenan (19.31) had a good win in the Sri Chinmoy 4.5 km Race ... followed by Bradley Gerritz (31.58).

Belinda Young (25.27) was a repeat winner in the women's 4.5 km, from Ashika Mudliar (35.39) and Helen Anderson (43.48).

Elizabeth Young (7.36) won the Sri Chinmoy 1.5 km Children's Race, followed by younger sister Naomi (7.43) and Ashley Gerritz (9.36).

In the Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon, Mark Andrew (1.30.52) had a fine victory ... followed by Jason Gerritz (1.35.34) and Thomas Milliken (1.38.04).

Rieko Trees (1.42.37) won the women's half from Kathy Fell (2.12.03).

Aron Thompson (41.35) was just 10 seconds off Tom Keeler's course record in the Sri Chinmoy Quarter-Marathon (10.55k) ... followed by Peter Segedin (47.30) and Elliott Lowe (48.41).

Julie Collard (1.00.55) was first in the women's quarter ... followed by Sandhya Fernandez (1.05.48) and Laura Youdan (1.09.09).

Neil Cheetham (18.29) had a good win in the Sri Chinmoy 4.5 km Race ... closely followed by Rexhep Ajvazaj (18.31) and Zachary Swain (18.37).

Belinda Young (26.43) was first in the women's 4.5 km, from Sara Hanning (26.58).

Ollie Cheetham (5.39) set a new boy's (and outright children's) under 13 record in the Sri Chinmoy 1.5 km Children's Race ... taking 12 seconds off Katie Heaven's 2015 mark.

Harriet Maslin (8.49) won the 1.5 km Girls Race.
