A mild-blue-sky summer's day greeted runners and walkers, for race 2 of the Sri Chinmoy Auckland Series 2023, held at the peaceful, evergreen Lovelock Track, War Memorial Park, Mt Roskill on Sunday 26 February 2023.

Jason Gerritz (1.08.10) won the inaugural Sri Chinmoy 10-Mile Classic (16.1k) from Vincent Sesto (1.10.17) and Shaun Cooper (1.15.55).

Csenge Gyorgyi (1.21.01) was first in the women's 10-Miler ... followed by Lisa Harris (1.21.55) and Kim Dirks (1.26.16).

In the Sri Chinmoy 10 km Race Tom Mowbray (35.28) was just 12 seconds over Ben Evans December 2022 men's course record. Aron Thompson (38.00) and David Mole (44.37) were 2nd & 3rd.

Melanie James (47.27) had a comfortable win in the women's 10 km race ... from Gina Todd (53.21) & Kylie Hogg (1.04.52).

Salesh Srikewal (49.16) and Helen Anderson (53.33) were the respective winners of the men's/ women's Sri Chinmoy 5.6 km Races.

Angela Baird (11.22) was first in the Sri Chinmoy 2.5 km Children's Race, followed by Zaddie Todd (13.32) and Ashley Gerritz (24.30).

Matthew Baird (12.08) won the 2.5 km boy's race ... from Villa Zhang (13.46) and Kasper Kerr & Bradley Gerritz (both 16.16).

A damp, overcast early summer's day greeted runners and walkers, for race 6 of the Sri Chinmoy Auckland Series 2022, at the evergreen War Memorial Park, Mt Roskill on Sunday 11 December 2022.

In the Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon, Stewart Ellison (1.32.55) had a close victory from Daniel Gillott (1.33.16) and Jason Gerritz (1.35.31).

Shannon-Leigh Litt (1.34.11) was first in the women's half (third place overall), followed by Kim Dirks (1.59.03).

Ben Evans (35.16), displaying abundant natural talent and classic running form, achieved a very fine win the Sri Chinmoy 10 km Race ... taking 1 min 28 secs off Rick Tombling's 2015 men's 10 km course record. Aron Thompson (39.16) and Daniel Playne (40.15) were 2nd & 3rd men.

Gina Todd (54.45) had a comfortable win the women's 10 km race, from Kath Godber & Karen Livingston (both 1.06.32).

Stephen Rawles (26.14) won the Sri Chinmoy 5.6 km Race ... closely followed by his son Alex (26.16) ... and William Baird (33.29).

Lisa Harris (28.10) was first in the women's 5.6 km ... from Damanpreet Babbra (52.12) & Helen Anderson (52.40).

Angela Baird (11.15) was first in the Sri Chinmoy 2.5 km Children's Race, followed by Grace Parkinson (11.56) and Harriet Maslin (14.19).

Joshua Parkinson (12.03) won the 2.5 km boy's race ... from by Matthew Baird (12.44). and Christopher Rawles (13.01).

A sunny, breezy mid-spring day greeted the runners and walkers, for race 5 of the Sri Chinmoy Auckland Series 2022, at the picturesque War Memorial Park, Mt Roskill on Sunday 16 October 2022.

In the Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon, Tim Smith (1.41.15) had a comfortable win from Mark Morial (2.00.37) and Arvis Opelts (2.03.18). Kim Dirks (1.59.59) was first in the women's half.

Steven Dillon (44.50) was the victor in the Sri Chinmoy 10 km Race ... followed by Charlie Li (48.15) and Dilip Data (49.27).

Women's winner, Winona Lee 19, (46.16) ran a excellent time to win her inaugural 10 km race ... from Julie Collard (1.01.55), and Roselind Kelly (1.06.47).

Robin Bobichon 17, (22.56) won the Sri Chinmoy 5.6 km Race ... followed by his dad, Jean-Francios Bobichon (26.48) and Stephen Rawles (27.45). Jackie Kobin (35.18) was first in the women's 5.6 km.

Joshua Parkinson (11.56) won the Sri Chinmoy 2.5 km Boy's (under 13) Race ... followed by Christopher Rawles (14.44).

Grace Parkinson (12.47) was first in the 2.5 km girl's race.

A delightful early Spring day greeted runners and walkers for race 4 of the Sri Chinmoy Auckland Series 2022 at the Auckland Domain on Sunday 18 September 2022.

In the Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon, Jake Hendrickx (1.12.44), Simon Mace (1.12.44) had great tussle, and eventually settling for a 1st place draw ... just 57 sec off the 2020 course record (1.11.47).

3rd placed Rodwyn Isaacs (1.14.36) also ran a fine race ... initially running with the leaders, before fading slightly in the latter stages.

Lisa Harris (1.48.31) achieved first place in the women's half, followed by Rae Peters (1.50.33) and Miranda Ng (2.08.08).

In the Sri Chinmoy 10 km Race, Melanie James (46.04) had an excellent outright victory ... from Kim Dirks (52.22) and Liz Hardley (55.40).

Dilip Datta (48.18) had another good win in the men's 10 km, followed by Evan Keating (49.37), and Ian Brailsford (53.08).

Neil Cheetham (20.52) won the Sri Chinmoy 5 km Race, from Rexhep Ajvazaj (24.22) and Paul Gregory (25.21).

Tanya Tudman (29.46) was first in the women's 5 km, followed by Kim Carruthers (35.02) and Helen Anderson (46.46).

Angela Baird (11.52) won the Sri Chinmoy 2.5 km Children's (under 13) Race.

Joshua Parkinson (11.59) was first in the 2.5 km boys race, from Matthew Baird (14.01 and Beah Hale (14.34).

A cool, crisp dawn heralded a lovely blue-sky day for runners and walkers in race 3 of the Sri Chinmoy Auckland Series 2022 ... held at the evergreen Auckland Domain on Sunday 17 July 2022.

In the Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon, Hugo Marinez (1.25.09) had a fine win over Jason Gerritz (1.30.37) and Vincent Sesto (1.33.33).

Yoko Miya (1.45.47) achieved first place in the women's half, followed by runners'-up Kirsty Pinder (1.51.25) and Kim Dirks (1.55.27).

Half-marathon men's (60-69) winner, Malcolm Chamberlin (1.50.56), celebrated his 101st age group victory in Sri Chinmoy Races, with a display of medals and trophies, achieved over the last 20+ years.

In the Sri Chinmoy 10 km Race, Dale Berrill (41.51) ran a strong race, for a excellent outright victory, from Melanie James (46.42) and Krystyna Glavinovic (51.13).

Dilip Datta (48.27) won a close battle in the men's 10 km, just ahead of Steve Sutton (48.31), followed by dualing Lyndon Dahlberg & Neil Dreadon (both 48.53).

Tracey Johns (22.17) was first in the Sri Chinmoy 5 km Race, from Jamie Stevenson (32.27) and Chloe Lam & Vivian Ho (both 43.25).

Rob Berrill (24.17) was first in the men's 5 km, followed by Tais Stevenson (32.27).

Angela Baird (11.45) won the Sri Chinmoy 2.5 km Children's (under 13) Race, followed by Jessica Berrill (14.13) and Ashley Gerritz (16.51)

Scott Berrill (13.27) won the 2.5 km boys race, from Matthew Baird (13.52) and Ben Pond (14.12).

A chilly, damp, breezy day greeted runners and walkers for race 2 of the Sri Chinmoy Auckland Series 2022, held at a wintry Auckland Domain on Sunday 12 June 2022.

In the Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon, Jack Keeys (1.32.44) held off Jason Gerritz (1.33.09) for a fine victory. Daniel Faulke (1.38.57) was third.

In the women's half Lisa Harris (1.50.47) achieved first place, followed by runners'-up Gokcen Cesur (2.22.58) and Riverlina Siulepa (2.24.46).

In the Sri Chinmoy 10 km Race, Max Plowman (39.37) ran a strong last lap for a excellent win, followed by Aron Thompson (41.38) and Sam Gerber (45.17).

Yoko Miya (49.25) won the women's 10 km, ahead of Kim Dirks (51.31) and Gayle Clarke (52.10).

Rexhep Ajvazaj (24.43) was first in the Sri Chinmoy 5 km Race , followed by Joshua Emslie-Wood (26.26) and Reuben Wood ((26.26).

Jackie Kobin (31.07) was first in the women's 5 km, followed by Helen Anderson (48.16).

Bradley Gerritz (16.48) and his younger sister Ashley Gerritz (16.58) won the Sri Chinmoy 2.5 km Children's (under 13) Races.

A mild cloudy/ blue-sky-day greeted the runners and walkers for race 1 of the Sri Chinmoy Auckland Series 2022, held at a picturesque Auckland Domain on Sunday 01 May 2022.

In the Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon, Jason Gerritz (1.33.18) had a comfortable victory from Nick McCaw (1.42.24) and Mikel Constantine (1.49.14).

In the women's half Lisa Harris (1.48.28) had a fine win, ahead of runners'-up Rachel Rawles (1.58.21) and Kim Dirks (1.59.36).

In the Sri Chinmoy 10 km Race, Carl Byrne (40.52) won the men's race, from Aron Thompson (42.39) and Ivor Gerber (47.10).

Melanie James (47.32) won the women's 10 km, ahead of Louise Barbier (48.46) and Alexia Scheurermann (52.03).

Natalie Radley (23.37) was first woman, and outright victor, in the Sri Chinmoy 5 km Race , followed by Maureen Sutherland (25.16) and Breanna Thomson ((31.22).

Tony Sutherland (27.21) was first in the men's 5 km, from Tony Leigh (27.34).

Sam Radley (10.57) won the Sri Chinmoy 2.5 km Children's (under 13) Race, from Joshua Parkinson (11.51) and Mathew Baird (14.28).

Jazz Sutherland (11.21), after a close duel with runner-up Grace Parkinson (11.24), was the winner of the girl's 2.5 km ... followed by Angela Baird (14.10).

Early rain showers gave way to intermittent sunny periods for race 6 of the Sri Chinmoy Auckland Series 2021 … held at a delightful Auckland Domain on Sunday 08 August 2021.

In the Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon, Sam Keats (1.29.02) ran a strong race ... achieving a fine victory over runners-up Shaun Cooper (1.38.09) and Aron Thompson(1.38.25).

In the women's half Amanda Bethell (1.38.31) finished comfortably ahead of 2nd & 3rd place-getters Lisa Harris (1.41.20) and Shannon-Leigh Litt (1.51.06).

Gavin Gower (40.20) had a good win in the Sri Chinmoy 10 km Race ... after an early duel with runner-up Vince Sesto (41.34). Ivor Gerber (45.04) was third.

Kirsty Pinder (51.11) won the women's 10 km, ahead of Kim Dirks (55.39) and Lisa Melia (1.19.58).

In the Sri Chinmoy 5 km Race Yusuke Chow (22.30) had an excellent win ... followed by Alexander Rawles (24.00) and Derek Dong (25.02).

Annie Dong (28.09) won the women's 5k ... followed by Jasdeep Sangha (28.20) and Annie Baird ((29.35).

In the Sri Chinmoy 2.5k Children's Race Christopher Rawles (12.12) won the boy's 2.5k ... from Len Ozeki (14.29) and Lui Yokokawa-Perillo (15.04).

Angela Baird (12.39) was the girl's 2.5k winner ... followed by Jazz Sutherland (14.35) and Anna Dong (14.42).

A frosty dawn transformed into a delightful, sunny, blue-sky day for race 5 of the Sri Chinmoy Auckland Series 2021 … held at an enchanting Auckland Domain on Sunday 04 July 2021.

In the Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon, Nick Smeeton (1.26.02) eased away from runner-up Carl Byrne (1.26.17) in the latter stages of the race for a fine victory. Andrew Cave (1.28.03) came home in third place.

In the women's half  Lisa Harris (1.41.49) finished comfortably ahead of 2nd & 3rd place-getters  Lizzy Ellis (1.45.27) and Maggie Chang (2.10.03).

In the Sri Chinmoy 10 km Race, Chris Pearce (46.40) was a clear winner, followed by dueling runners-up Stephen Rawles (49.49) and Chris Hoffman (49.55).

Kim Dirks (55.02) won the women's 10 km, ahead of Jen Wong (1.04.05) and Jana Lepper (1.09.36).

In the Sri Chinmoy 5 km Race, 15 year old Sophie Robb (19.03) ran the second fastest women's time ever recorded on the undulating Auckland Domain course, for a superb outright victory ... followed by Annie Baird (27.49) and Jasdeep Sangha ((29.40).

Aron Thompson (20.36) had a strong win in the men's 5k ... from Alexander Rawles (25.09) and Derek Dong (25.49).

In the Sri Chinmoy 2.5k Children's Race Angela Baird (12.18) was the girl's 2.5k winner ... followed by Sophie Chen (21.54).

Joshua Parkinson (12.28) won the boy's 2.5k ... from Lui Yokokawa-Perillo (14.26) and Matthew Baird (14.36).

It was a mild cloudy day, with some late drizzle, for race 4 of the Sri Chinmoy Auckland Series 2021, held at the beautiful Auckland Domain on Sunday 13 June 2021.

In the Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon, Peter Griffiths (1.29.59) eased away from runner-up Josiah Kennerley (1.31 22) in the latter stages of the race for a fine victory. Sam Keats (1.31.36) came home in third place.

In the women's half  Amanda Bethell (1.37.02) finished comfortably ahead of runners'-up Lisa Harris (1.44.08) and Kirsty Pinder (1.56.33).

In the Sri Chinmoy 10 km Race, Kieran Hedley (39.43) won a 'photo-finish' duel with with runner-up Carl Byrne (39.43). Elijah Ivimey (41.23) was third.

Kathy Fell (1.05.12) won the women's 10 km, ahead of Lisa Melia (1.20.27) and Theresa Tamapeau (1.40.10).

Yusuke Chow (21.04) had an excellent win in the Sri Chinmoy 5k Race ... from Michael Wrigley (21.10) and Alexander Rawles (24.55).

Annie Baird (28.25) won the women's 5k race, followed by Ingrid Stewart (30.21) and Jackie Cobin ((35.03).

In the Sri Chinmoy 2.5k Children's Race Angela Baird (12.18) was the girl's 2.5k winner ... followed by  Ashley Gerritz(16.47).

Len Ozeki (14.30) won the boy's 2.5k ... from Lui Yokokama-Perillo (14.50) and Bradley Gerritz (14.50).

A calm, cool blue-sky-day greeted the runners and walkers for race 3 of the Sri Chinmoy Auckland Series 2021, held at a stunningly picturesque Auckland Domain on Sunday 02 May 2021.

In the Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon, Fabe Downs (1.11.47) and his friend Rodwyn Isaacs (1.12.49) literaly flew around the gently, undulating 2.5 km Auckland Domain course, lapping all the other competitors, with Fabe easing away in the latter stages of the race - both runners dipping under Ciaran Faherty's (1.13.05) outstanding 2017 course record. Congratulations Fabe & Rodwyn !!!

Carl Byrne (1.30.48) came home in third place after a good battle with Jason Gerritz (1.31.25).

In the women's half Lisa Harris (1.41.32) finished comfortably ahead of runners'-up Diana Prado (1.57.37) and Anne-Marie Mujica (1.57.40).

In the Sri Chinmoy 10 km Race, Vince Sesto (41.19) won the men's race from Elijah Ivimey (41.48) and Shaun Cooper (43.54).

Kirsty Pinder (51.07) won the women's 10 km, ahead of Kim Dirks (55.37) and Liz Hardley (58.08).

Aron Thompson (20.41) had a fine victory in the Sri Chinmoy 5k Race ... from Yusuke Chow (21.43) and Tony Sutherland (25.30).

Maureen Sutherland (24.34) once again won the women's 5k race, followed by Lucia Katongo (28.19) and Anya Katongo ((28.39).

In the Sri Chinmoy 2.5k Children's Race Kousei Chow (12.02) won the boy's 2.5k ... from Takumi Ozeki (13.37) and Derek Dong (14.04).

Jazz Sutherland (12.14) was the girl's 2.5k winner ... followed by Angela Baird (12.57) and Anna Dong (15.33).

A mild, calm Autumn's day greeted the runners and walkers for race 2 of the Sri Chinmoy Auckland Series 2021 ... held at the scenic and peaceful War Memorial Park/ Lovelock Track, Mt Roskill on Sunday, 04 April 2021.

In the Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon Bethany Bromfield (1.22.06) ran a marvelous race, gradually easing away from the rest of the field, to achieve outright victory and smash 5 minutes off the course record that she set in December 2020.

Jaqueline Eastman (1.41.45) was second woman, closely followed by Lisa Harris (1.41.56).

Daniel Playne (1.23.05) showed excellent form and ran a personal best to win the men's half, followed by Neville Thorne (1.26.29) and Jason Gerritz (1.34.10).

Vincent Sesto (41.09) was victorious in the Sri Chinmoy 10k Race ... followed by dueling runners-up Luke Watson (46.59) and Neil Dreadon (47.01).

Evergreen 66-year-young Liz Hardley (58.31) had another fine win in the women's 10k ... followed by Melissa Allan (1.02.08) and Sara Mayne-McClay (1.05.08).

Promising 13 year old Yasuke Chow (23.12) had a impressive victory in the Sri Chinmoy 5.6k race ... followed by Alexander Rawles (30.26) and Kousei Chow (31.20).

Annie Baird (31.58) was first in the women's 5.6k ... from Daniela Medina (33.34) and Helen Anderson 50.52.

Talented Bruno McLeod (9.20) set a new boys (under 13) and outright race record in the Sri Chinmoy 2.5k Children's Race ... followed by Matthew Baird (15.27) and Naoko Chow (17.24).

Angela Baird  (12.53) was first in the girl's 2.5k, followed by Ashley Gerritz (22.51).

A windy, cloudy day greeted runners and walkers for race 9 of the Sri Chinmoy Auckland Series 2020 ... held at a peaceful War Memorial Park/ Lovelock Track, Mt Roskill on Sunday, 13 December 2020.

In the Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon Bethany Bromfield (1.27.29) ran an excellent race ... achieving an outright victory and clipping a minute off the course record that she set earlier this year.  

Shaun Cooper (1.31.18) had a fine win in the men's half, followed by Jason Gerritz (1.35.55) and Andrew Capel (1.37.25).

Chris Pearce (44.39) was victorious of the Sri Chinmoy 10k Race ... from runners'-up Peter Smith (46.52)  and Stephen Rawles (49.39).

Liz Hardley (56.19) won the women's 10k ...followed by Melissa Allan (1.03.39) and Kate Innes-Monsalve (1.06.51).

Mark Carryer (21.45) had another fine win in the men's 5.6k race ... followed by Alexander Rawles (34.36) and Jim Lawless (37.29).

Lucia Katongo (32.18) was first in the women's 5.6k ... from Anya Lockie (34.27) and Helen Anderson 52.20.

Grace Parkinson (11.46) won the Sri Chinmoy 2.5k Children's Race ... from Angela Baird  (12.17)

Henry Katongo (14.06) was first boy, from Matthew Baird (18.28).

In the Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon Daniel Playne (1.26.17) gradually eased away from the rest of the field, for a fine victory ... followed by Shaun Cooper (1.31.52) and Thomas Milliken (1.42.26). 

Kirsty Pinder (1.46.55) won the women;s half  from Kim Dirks (1.53.12). 

Jack Gordge (38.01) was victorious of the Sri Chinmoy 10k Race ... from runners'-up Grant Bowles (39.01)  and Ben Watson (39.23).

Melissa Allan (1.03.25) won the women's 10k ...followed by Nisha Patel (1.04.06) and friends Maureen Sutherland (1.06.24), Eva Sutherland (1.06.24) & Georgia Burrows (1.06.24). 

Vincent Sesto (22.00) won the men's 5.6k race ... followed by Malcom Chamberlin (25.51) and  Chris Wong  (25.56).

Louella Huang (36.39) was first in the women's 5.6k.

Angela Baird  (13.15) won the Sri Chinmoy 2.5k Children's Race ... from Dharani Mankal (16.00).

Matthew Baird (17.54) was first boy.

Early light rain made way for a mild, cloudy mid-winter's day for race 6 of the Sri Chinmoy Auckland Series 2020 ... held at the stunningly picturesque Auckland Domain on Sunday.

In the Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon, Rodwyn Isaacs (1.15.07) ran a marvelous fast paced race, lapping all the other competitors, to achieve the second fastest time ever recorded on the gently, undulating Auckland Domain course.  Awsome performance  Rodwyn !!!

Nick Smeeton (1.28.12) and Grant Bowles (1.29.49) were the men's half runners' up.

In the women's half Bethany Bromfield (1.26.35) maintained her very fine form, as she finished comfortably ahead of Jaqueline Eastman (1.40.13) and Emilie Mendez (1.42.21).

Kathy Harding (2.04.09), cheered along by many of her friends, family and well-wishers, achieved the great milestone of completing her 100th half-marathon. Congratulations Kathy !!!

In the Sri Chinmoy 10 km Race, Mike Rishworth (40.52) won the men's race from Stephen Robb (42.09) and Koshi Philips (43.51).

In the women's 10k, Holly Harding (43.33 had another excellent victory, just ahead of Melanie James (44.16) and Ashleigh O'Grady (45.13).

Mark Carryer (19.28) continued his run of wins in the Sri Chinmoy 5k Race ... from Malcolm Chamberlin (22.30) and Peter Smith (22.55). 

Maureen Sutherland (24.52) once again won the women's 5k race, followed by April Williams (27.42) and Fujiko Kato ((29.54).

In the Sri Chinmoy 2.5k Children's Race Sam Radley (10.55) won the boy's 2.5k ... from Scott Berrill (11.48) and Joshua Parkinson (13.45).

Jazz Sutherland (11.42) was a repeat winner the girl's 2.5k winner ... followed by Yasmina Bauarschi (11.58) and Grace Parkinson (12.09).

It was a windy-winter's day for race 5 of the Sri Chinmoy Auckland Series 2020 ... held at a pristine, picturesque Auckland Domain on Sunday.

In the Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon, outright victor, Bethany Bromfield (1.31.23) led from the start, and finished comfortably ahead of Jaqueline Eastman (1.44.41) and Lisa Harris (1.48.45).

Ralph Schroff (1.37.37) won the men's half, closely followed by Elliott Brownlee (1.37.53) and Neil Dreadon (1.38.11).

In the Sri Chinmoy 10 km Race, Rodwyn Isaacs  ran a fast, super-excellent 34.37 ... clipping 2 seconds of Tony Edmonds 34.39 long standing, 2011 course record. 'Congratulations' Rodwyn !!!

Andrew Capel (43.17) and Koshi Philips (45.00) were the 10k runners'up.

In the women's 10k, ever-consistent, Melanie James (43.58) had another fine victory, followed by Gooya Mozdbar (46.51) and Kim Dirks (52.23). 

Mark Carryer (19.52) looked in fine form in winning the Sri Chinmoy 5k Race ... from Malcolm Chamberlin (23.19) and Tony Sutherland (26.23). 

Maureen Sutherland (25.13) won the women's 5k race, followed by Anita Kundu (36.38) and Dionne Ryan ((38.15).

In the Sri Chinmoy 2.5k Children's Race, Jazz Sutherland (12.45) was the girl's winner ... followed by Lucia Katongo (13.34) and Jessica Berrill (14.10).

Ben Pond (13.14) won the boy's 2.5k ... from Henry Katongo (15.16).

It was a mild, early winter's day for race 4 of the Sri Chinmoy Auckland Series 2020 ... held at the evergreen, picturesque Auckland Domain on Sunday.

In the Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon, outright victor, Bethany Bromfield (1.25.40), ran the fastest womens' time seen on this course since Kiwi-Atlanta-Olympian, Nyla Carroll, over a decade ago. Bethany ran the opening laps alongside men's winner Daniel Playne (1.27.28), before gradually easing away in the second half.

Rae Peters (1.53.08 ) was the runner-up in the woman's half, followed by friends Megan Hayward (1.58.51) and Victoria Parsons (1.58.51).

Geoff Bull (1.34.16) was second in the men's half, just ahead of Andrew Capel (1.34.53)

In the Sri Chinmoy 10k Race, woman's winner, Cath Delaporte (42.15) ran a fine race for an outright win. Holly Harding (43.11) was second, followed by Melanie James (44.20).

Luke Watson (44.09) won the 10k men's race, from Shaun Cooper (45.27) and Ethan Bull (48.22).

Talented,10-year old Luca Henderson (20.11) showed outstanding promise in winning the Sri Chinmoy 5k Race ... followed by Malcolm Chamberlin (22.54) and Sam Radley (24.12). 

Natalie Radley (24.12) won the women's 5k race, from Maureen Sutherland (24.40) and Elena Worrall ((29.13).

In the Sri Chinmoy 2.5k Boy's Race, Blake Gunersen (11.51) was first, followed by younger brother Nathan (15.13).

Jazz Sutherland (12.07) won the girl's 2.5k from Grace Parkinson (12.48).

A mild, breezy, Summer's day, with an occasional shower, greeted runners and walkers for race 1 of the Sri Chinmoy Auckland Series 2020 ... held at the picturesque War Memorial Park/ Lovelock Track, Mt Roskill on Sunday, 23 February 2020.

In the Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon talented Bethany Bromfield (1.28.36) comfortably eased away from the rest of the field, for a fine outright victory ... clipping 9 seconds off Roxanne Shahtahmasebthe's 2015 women's course record (1.28.45).

Ever youthful, Jacqueline Eastman (1.38.44) was second woman, followed by New Zealand 3,100 mile ultra champion Harita Davies (1.53.26).

Mark Edwards (1.35.15) won the men's half, followed by Thomas Milliken (1.40.18) and Simon Koziak (1.43.27)

Gavin Hipkins (42.01) was victorious of the Sri Chinmoy 10k Race ... from runners'-up Oscar Jacobsohn (43.55)  and Stuart Cameron (47.43).

Liz Hardley (56.15) won the women's 10k ...followed by Meagan Ramages (1.03.18) and Tina Crownshaw (1.04.27). 

Tim Hall (24.07) won the men's 5.6k race ... followed by Pasha Roydon (27.46) and  Alexander Rawles  (29.20).

Tristan Ross  (14.27) was first in the boys 2.5k race ... from younger brother Rory (14.28) ... Emma Vant (16.13) won the girl's 2.5k.

A warm, early Summer's day greeted runners and walkers for race 9 of the Sri Chinmoy Auckland Series 2019 ... held at the picturesque, evergreen War Memorial Park/ Lovelock Track, Mt Roskill on Sunday.

In the Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon Steve Darby (1.36.44) ran a strong race, gradually easing away from the rest of the field, for a fine win ... followed by Anthony Coe (1.40.07) and John Bower (1.44.32).

Cath Delaporte (42.17) was the outright victor of the Sri Chinmoy 10k Race ... clipping 23 seconds off Holly Harding's 4-week-old women's course record.  Kim Dirks (52.56) and Andrea Rolls (54.49) were the women's runners'-up.

Alex Garden (44.22) celebrated his birthday with a victory in the Sri Chinmoy 10k Men's Race ...followed by Ian Fearnside (46.09) and John Denize (46.35). 

Leah Anstis  (26.43) was the overall winner of the Sri Chinmoy 5.6k race ... from Meagan Ramages (34.24) and Melisa Lawton (1.16.18).

Stephen Rawles  (26.54) won the men's 5.6k race ... followed by his improving son Alexander (28.32) and Shane Prins (31.59).

Oscar Lam (12.08) won the Sri Chinmoy 2.5k Children's Race ... followed by Joshua Parkinson (13.43) and Henry Katongo (15.57).

Grace Parkinson (12.24) won the girls 2.5k race ... from Lucia Katongo (12.36) and Madison Wilcox (18.22).

A sunny spring day greeted the runners and walkers for race 8 of the Sri Chinmoy Auckland Series 2019 ... held at beautiful War Memorial Park, Mt Roskill on Sunday.

In the Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon Bethany Bromfield (1.30.41) ran a strong race, gradually moving away from the rest of the field, for a fine outright victory ... followed runners-up Ying Wang (1.44.48) and Kim Dirks (1.56.38).

Andrew Cave (1.34.09) was first in the men's half ... from Shaun Cooper (1.44.24), and Malcom Chamberlin (1.45.30).

Neil Chettham (41.27) won the Sri Chinmoy 10k men's race ... from Gavin Hipkinsx (43.00) and Tim Hall (43.09).

Holly Harding (42.40) took nearly 2-minutes of the women's 10k course record that she set in April ... followed by Melanie James (44.17) and Andrea Rolls (53.16).

Stephen Rawles  (26.26) won the Sri Chinmoy 5.6k Race ... closely followed by  Rohan Whitaker (26.31) and Alexander Rawles (29.17).

Amy Chang (49.54) won the women's 5.6k race ... from Hilary Boyd (57.37).

Joe Everett (12.15) was a clear winner in the Sri Chinmoy 2.5k Children's Race ... followed by Leo Lauese (13.55).

Grace Parkinson (12.56) won the girls 2.5k race.
