A mild cloudy/ blue-sky-day greeted the runners and walkers for race 1 of the Sri Chinmoy Auckland Series 2022, held at a picturesque Auckland Domain on Sunday 01 May 2022.

In the Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon, Jason Gerritz (1.33.18) had a comfortable victory from Nick McCaw (1.42.24) and Mikel Constantine (1.49.14).

In the women's half Lisa Harris (1.48.28) had a fine win, ahead of runners'-up Rachel Rawles (1.58.21) and Kim Dirks (1.59.36).

In the Sri Chinmoy 10 km Race, Carl Byrne (40.52) won the men's race, from Aron Thompson (42.39) and Ivor Gerber (47.10).

Melanie James (47.32) won the women's 10 km, ahead of Louise Barbier (48.46) and Alexia Scheurermann (52.03).

Natalie Radley (23.37) was first woman, and outright victor, in the Sri Chinmoy 5 km Race , followed by Maureen Sutherland (25.16) and Breanna Thomson ((31.22).

Tony Sutherland (27.21) was first in the men's 5 km, from Tony Leigh (27.34).

Sam Radley (10.57) won the Sri Chinmoy 2.5 km Children's (under 13) Race, from Joshua Parkinson (11.51) and Mathew Baird (14.28).

Jazz Sutherland (11.21), after a close duel with runner-up Grace Parkinson (11.24), was the winner of the girl's 2.5 km ... followed by Angela Baird (14.10).
