    In windy-rainy conditions, Keith Burrows 226.999 km (Owairaka Athletics, Auckland), and Shannon-Leigh Litt 205.050 km (Hatea Whangārei), ran superb races to achieve clear victories in the 25th Sri Chinmoy 24-Hour Track Races ... at Auckland's AUT Millennium Stadium on Sat/ Sun 23-24 Sep. 2023.

    Sam Beale 186.846 km (Lake City Athletic) and Liam Jones 184.514 km (Wellington Scottish) were 2nd & 3rd men, while Kim Allan 183.621 km (Run Timaru) and Emma Timmis 150.000 km (Don Grieg Stables, Reefton) were 2nd & 3rd women.

    Athletics New Zealand representative, John Bowden, presented the 24-hour national championship Gold, Silver & Bronze medals to the leading 3 men & women.

    New Zealand Ultra great, Sandy Barwick MBE presented the Richard Tout and Sandy Barwich 24-Hour Perpetual Trophies to Keith and Shannon-Leigh.

    Dan Franklin 74, 149.605 km (Tokoroa) added 4.405 km to Colin Clifton's 1997 (men 70-74) race record (145.200 km).

    In the Sri Chinmoy 12-Hour Race, Andrew Mcdowall 128.850 km (Owairaka Athletics, Auckland) ran an outstanding race for a come-from-behind outright victory over women's winner Carol Robertson 128.294 km (Hmltn Hawkes, Sunshine Beach, AUS).

    Carol added 3.094 km to the long standing 12-hour race record set in 1999 by former New Zealand 100 km and 24-Hour representative Winnie Cosgrove (125.200 km).

    James Inwood 113.216 km (Athletics Masterton) and Lyndon Dahlberg 98.370 km (Papakura Athletic, Cable Bay) were 2nd & 3rd men, while Sue Hunter 100.007 km (Hmltn Hawkes) was 2nd women.

    Scott Whitley 68.508 km (Wanganui Harriers) won the Sri Chinmoy 6-Hour Race ... from Tom Keeler 64.876 km (Auckland) and Allan Staite 59.560 km (Hatea Whangārei).

    Sumudu Thode 42.387 km (Auckland) won the women's 6-hour ... followed by Niribili File 33.329 km (Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team, Auckland).

    In the Sri Chinmoy 24-Hour Teams Relay, the 6-person 'Wingin' It' team (Stephanie Deacon, Peter McCartney, Liam Behan, Anna Harris, Glenn Riddell & Hayley Riddell) ran an encouraging 217.038 km .
