    Russell Lake 44, (Tauranga 7.51.13) and Dawn Tuffery 31, (Hamilton 8.42.14) won the Sri Chinmoy 100k Road Races (Athletics N.Z. National Road Championships) on Sunday.

    Russell, the returning 2013 champion, achieved a personal best by 17 minutes and was followed by N.Z. 24-hour reps Brian Mc Corkindale 61, (Christchurch 8.32.54) and Wayne Botha 42, (Auckland 10.18.37). 

    Dawn was a comfortable victor after being pressed by 2013 winner Shannon-Leigh Litt 35, (Taurangs 9.31.43) in the first half.

    After a frosty start conditions were fine and mild for the remainder of the event ... with late forecast rain only arriving during the post race awards ceremony.

    Mark Ingram 45, (Christchurch 8.29.53) and Vivian Cheng 35, (Wellington 9.31.38) won the Sri Chinmoy 50 Mile Races.

    Jayden Anker 22, (Christchurch 3.51.07) and masters champion Val Muskett 59, (Otago 4.28.20) were victorious in the Sri Chinmoy 50k Races.

    Jayden, showing potental, was followed by former Hawaii ironman great Scott Molina 54, (Christchurch 4.11.09) ... while Val had a fine win over a promising Emily Bell 33, (Christchurch 4.35.15) and former NZL rep & 24-Hour champ Margaret Hazelwood 64, (Picton 4.50.51).
