A mild, calm Autumn's day greeted the runners and walkers for race 2 of the Sri Chinmoy Auckland Series 2021 ... held at the scenic and peaceful War Memorial Park/ Lovelock Track, Mt Roskill on Sunday, 04 April 2021.

In the Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon Bethany Bromfield (1.22.06) ran a marvelous race, gradually easing away from the rest of the field, to achieve outright victory and smash 5 minutes off the course record that she set in December 2020.

Jaqueline Eastman (1.41.45) was second woman, closely followed by Lisa Harris (1.41.56).

Daniel Playne (1.23.05) showed excellent form and ran a personal best to win the men's half, followed by Neville Thorne (1.26.29) and Jason Gerritz (1.34.10).

Vincent Sesto (41.09) was victorious in the Sri Chinmoy 10k Race ... followed by dueling runners-up Luke Watson (46.59) and Neil Dreadon (47.01).

Evergreen 66-year-young Liz Hardley (58.31) had another fine win in the women's 10k ... followed by Melissa Allan (1.02.08) and Sara Mayne-McClay (1.05.08).

Promising 13 year old Yasuke Chow (23.12) had a impressive victory in the Sri Chinmoy 5.6k race ... followed by Alexander Rawles (30.26) and Kousei Chow (31.20).

Annie Baird (31.58) was first in the women's 5.6k ... from Daniela Medina (33.34) and Helen Anderson 50.52.

Talented Bruno McLeod (9.20) set a new boys (under 13) and outright race record in the Sri Chinmoy 2.5k Children's Race ... followed by Matthew Baird (15.27) and Naoko Chow (17.24).

Angela Baird  (12.53) was first in the girl's 2.5k, followed by Ashley Gerritz (22.51).
