Congratulations to all participants in the Sri Chinmoy Half-Marathon, 10km and Children's 2.5km Races in Hagley Park, Christchurch.

The men's 10km race was won by a margin of several minutes by Andrew Chambers, who easily led the field to finish in 33.59. Megan Watson claimed the women's race with a time of 41.59.

In the Half Marathon Carrie Lee clocked a great time of 1.32.36 while Shane Thrower won the men's race in 1.24.20.

Ayrton Shadbolt once again took out the Children's 2.5km with a speedy 9.34 and Erin Downie won the girls' race with 9.41.
